At Dromintee PS we have been taking our responsibility towards germ prevention seriously. We have been updating our risk assessment every few days and changing our practices in school. We will be liaising with the Department of Education closely. At present their advice is that our responses to Covid-19 are proportionate, necessary and based on specific public health advice and that no other response is appropriate.
Public health officials will contact schools if there is any action to be taken. Schools are not to take unilateral action with regard to isolation or closure.
