It was an informative afternoon in Primary 5 when we got the opportunity to listen to three fire men from Newry Fire Station speak about the importance of checking our homes and prevention of fire. The children each received:
- A pack filled with important information about preventing fire;
- Checklists to complete at home of ways we can stop fire;
- An informative quiz to complete with mum, dad or guardians;
- High vise bag to keep their belongings in
We learnt a lot today and we will be checking our homes to ensure they are 'fire safe'.
