This afternoon the P7 pupils really enjoyed taking part in different science activities based on ‘Microbes and me: Friends or Foe’. Thank you so much to Dr Linda Obama, from Queen’s University who facilitated this brilliant workshop and provided all the materials & resources. The P7 class were only the second class in all of Northern Ireland to avail of this fantastic opportunity.
This workshop will run over 2 days; Day 1 the pupils did their experiments and designed & named their own microbe. Day 2 (tomorrow), the pupils will be observing and reporting on their findings.
