We had a super day learning about our new topic Area. We worked together to find the areas of irregular shapes using cubes. We had great fun.
The next day we completed our area work and counted the squares of each shape to find the whole area. We challenged ourselves by learning if we times the length and the breadth then we will find the whole area of the shape. We checked our answers by counting the squares in each shape. We had a go at drawing different measurements on our table.
