Armagh V Monaghan League Game

10th Feb 2022

Dromintee Primary School has been selected to play at half-time in the League Game Armagh V Monaghan in the Athletic Grounds on Saturday 19th February at 5.30pm.  Our children will be playing in their school kit and will be playing against another primary school from the area.  The team will be made up of 5 girls and 6 boys.  We wish Ava, Emer, Hannah, Isabella and Lucy every success.  Ádh mór also to Daithi, Jack, Jude, Matthew, Pauric and Tony.  We are fortunate in Dromintee Primary School to have Mr Burns on our teaching staff at present - teacher to Tony, Pauric, Daithi and Jude - as an inspirational role model to our pupils.  We also have Mr McConville on teaching practice from St Mary's College for 10 weeks, teaching Primary 7 - all the girls and Matthew and Jack.  Over the last few years Greg McCabe has been coaching our P4 - P7 children every Tuesday, gifted from Dromintee CLG and working in close cooperation with the coaching team at the club.  The pupils in Dromintee PS are extremely fortunate to have benefited from this Acadamh programme, and fortunate also to have had profited from the excellent coaching skills and pupil-centred tuition that Greg has afforded them.  We wish everyone good luck on the day, and we wish Armagh Senior Football team every success.  Up Armagh!  Árd Mhacha abú
