Mr Stephen Begley met with Mrs Fiona Fearon and some members of the pastoral care team in the Canal Court. This event was organised by the Newry and Mourne Chamber of Commerce and Finance. Dromintee Primary school staff and some of its pupils were guests at a dinner. One of the children got a prize-holiday voucher and £1,000 spending money. The family were invited to attend the Gala Ball where the entertainment was local school choirs and world-renowned singer Peter Corry. The family were guests at a private seasonal event in the Mourne Mountains earlier in the week. Declan McChesney came to the school to interview the principal and pupil, Daisy on her contribution to school and family life. As an anti-bullying ambassador and member of the pastoral care team, Daisy was celebrated on the night.
