Kindness Challenge and World Mental Health Day in P2
We have been participating in the NSPCC Kindness Week Challenge and World Mental Health Day in P2. We tried extra hard to be kind in class using our kind words and actions. We talked about how we can be a good friend at break time, lunch time and in our classroom. We designed some super posters showing ways we can help our friends if they hurt themselves, take turns in games and ask a friend to play if they are sad.
We also celebrated World Mental Health day today. We talked about the importance of talking about our emotions and came up with ideas on what we can do if we feel sad, angry or nervous. We also completed some lovely positive affirmation posters to help us feel good about ourselves.
Fiona Flower also rewarded us with some bubbles for getting 10 stars in our jar this week. We enjoyed playing with our friends blowing bubbles outside, which is great for our emotional health and wellbeing.
