Congratulations to everyone for their hard work and efforts striving to get a Gold Certificate in their Mathseeds/ Mathletics in Term 2 (Jan/ Feb.)
A special gift was presented to Evan Fanning in P4 for completing his Mathseeds maps. Well done Evan this is a super achievement!
Looking ahead to next month’s challenge we are focusing on Mental Maths in March. P1-P4 pupils are encouraged to play the Mental Minute Mathseeds game and P5-7 pupils will focus on increasing their Mathletics Live points.
The Maths display in the KS2 area will be transformed into a Countdown Number game so please use your skills to try and solve the target number. Why not watch Maths genius, Acer, (4 year old) taking YouTube by storm with his amazing Mental Maths!
Dates for your diary: International Maths Day Friday 13th March pupils will participate in a poster competition for their theme Maths and Hope and bring in a board/ number game from home to play with their friends.
Wednesday 25th March: P5-7 will participate in Mathletics World Maths Day.
