This morning was a very emotional, heartwarming but special day for our school community as we had the opportunity to celebrate the 32 year old teaching service of our VP and p7 teacher, Mrs Michelle Kelly.
The ceremony was delivered beautifully by Fr Seamus and the mass reflected the years of dedication, leadership, kindness and guidance Mrs Kelly bestowed in Dromintee. The children’s involvement was testament to Mrs Kelly’s child centred ethos.
Back at school Mrs Kelly’s family & guests alongside staff past and present and board of governors enjoyed refreshments. The hall was adored with images, well wishes and art work lovingly created by every child from p1-p7.
Wishing you many years of happiness, good health and many wonderful adventures in the years ahead Mrs Kelly.
Back to work Monday morning though , you have a few weeks yet!
