This afternoon Anabelle's mummy and daddy brought Anabelle's horse, Poppy into school. People travelled about on horseback in the olden days. We saw the horse shoes, saddle and we had an opportunity to feed Poppy some fruit. Annabelle's daddy walked Poppy into the horsebox to show us how he transports Poppy on long journeys. Then Annabelle's mum trotted home on horseback.
