P6 led Mass this morning with the theme, 'Helping Children in Need'. Today we remembered children in need, especially children in developing countries around the world. We help when we are generous and share our money with them - eg dress up days' fundraisers and bring and buy sales. During Lent we buy tickets for Trócaire. God says if you do share 'you will be like the sun that fills the sky with light each morning'.
Pupils from P6 took part in the Mass by saying the readings, the responsorial psalm, the prayers of the faithful and the prayers before and after Holy Communion.
Today was also a very special day in the life of our parish as some of our P6 and P7 pupils became altar servers and served at Mass - the first time in 5 years. Father Seamus wished them well in their altar-serving careers.
