Last Tuesday Geraldine from Action Mental Health facilitated our first training session in the new ‘Peer Listening’ program, for P6 & P7 pupils who are in the Pastoral Care Team. This is a brand new pilot program and Dromintee Primary School is very lucky to be the very first primary school in Northern Ireland to take part. This is a four week program focusing on, Mental Health, Active Listening & Body Language; Positivity, Kindness & Gratitude; Empathy & Friendship; Diversity Inclusion & Community.
