This week our topic work on People Who Help Us focussed on the life of a nurse. We watched two seesaw clips by real nurses, Reina's granny and Peter's mum. They told us lots of information about a nurse and what they do at work. Our sound of the week was n so we linked it into our topicwork and it was fantastic that the school nurse Maeve and her staff visited our school today to distribute the flu vaccine. We wore our little nurse hat headbands that we made when we were learning about the life of a nurse in the olden days.
