Today our very lucky P1 children had a special visitor - Mr. Dan Fanning. Dan is not only daddy to one of our P1 children but he also has a very cool job. He works as an aeronautical engineer and shared lots of information about the aeroplanes he helps to design and works on.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the different parts of the aeroplane and how they fly, and had amazing questions for Dan.
We even got to wear headsets and pretend to be pilots and air traffic controllers - this was great fun!
Dan was also very kind to bring an Aer Lingus aeroplane keyring gift for every child as a souvenir of his visit.
Thanks to Dan for a fantastic experience for our P1 children.
