The Primary One class had an enjoyable morning taking part in Maths activities to celebrate World Maths Day 2022. Due to the great weather this week, we decided to bring our learning into our outdoor area. We had a carousel of active maths activities planned for the children which involved:
- Counting
- Number formations
- Patterns
- 2D & 3D Shape
- Sorting for size and colour
- Numicon
It was wonderful watching the Primary One children experience the enjoyment and excitement that is generated when children actively engage with their environment.
